welcome!
Hello! My name is Brooklyn and I am a 24 year old rider and aspiring trainer. I have had the privilege to train a handful of horses, but is something I would love to expand on and take a step higher. I grew up on a Beef Cattle farm and have now branched off and started as independent with my Husband! We have a herd of cows as well as Grain land! I have 3 horses - Ash, Echo, and Remington !
Growing up, I guess you could say I was your typical horse crazy little girl. It all began with riding ponies on the lead line to taking part in 4H, and quickly turned into a much deeper love for showing horses. As I grew up, I began to explore many different things ranging from rodeo events, parades, trail riding, high caliber showing, and jumping. My latest is learning to rope! I love being able to learn and expand my knowledge everyday in hopes that I will be able to pass it on to others.
After high school, I attended university but I couldn’t get into it. Eventually I decided to just work instead of going to school. I worked a couple different jobs, but none of them ever stuck. I was worried because I couldn’t figure out what I wanted to do. I love animals and I love working and talking with people. Then I realized, it’s been right there in front of me for so long, I don’t know how I missed it. Training horses and giving lessons is something i’ve said I always wanted to do, but never knew where to begin so I didn’t pursue it.
I have grown up in the showring alongside some amazing trainers and riders who have all taught me so many tips and tricks. I have also had the pleasure of learning from various trainers all in different ways ranging from clinics to lessons to simple one on one conversations.
My end goal is to finally be able to pass on my knowledge by giving lessons and training horses, and maybe help some other little girl find her passion. I couldn’t be more excited to finally start this journey with you all and see where it takes me!
